High School
Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is open to all high school
students (for grades 9-12), who
are at least 14 years of age, and who are interested in completing the
initiation process into the Church. The Confirmation Program at St.
Francis is a one year program starting in October and completing in
June. Confirmation candidates meet in homegroups to learn about the
Sacrament, their relationship to Christ and their role in the Christian
Community.
The high school
Confirmation program has 72 candidates registered—13 are preparing for First
Eucharist and Confirmation. Candidates meet on the 1st and 3rd weeks of each
month. We are grateful to the 26 peer ministers, young adults, and adults
who minister to the teens as facilitators in the small groups. In November,
the groups will be moving to homegroups. We ask that you continue to pray
for the candidates on their journey to full initiation in the Church. Any

Youth Mass - Youth Mass is celebrated every Sunday at 6 p.m.
Attendance at Youth Mass is expected of all
Confirmation candidates.
