Caregiver Support Group Schedule
Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at St. Francis of Assisi. 

This group is for any caregivers of older adults, and is a supportive environment to learn more about caring for your loved one and also to share your joys and burdens with other caregivers.

Day Break sponsored enrichment classes are free and open to St. Francis parishioners, to the Evergreen community who are 55 +, and to our Day Break clients. The classes are held at St. Francis.

Free Blood Pressure Screening--Catholic Charities Day Break Program sponsors a free blood pressure screening to those 50 years and older on the 4th Thursday of each month from 9:00-10:30 AM next to the Garden Room. If you would like your blood pressure checked by the Day Break Nurse, Donna Bell, please come by.

Adult Education—Offers Tai Chi classes, MW 11-12 and Th. 10-11.  No fee.

Advisory Board—The Day Break Advisory Board has openings. The board meets bi-monthly on the fourth Monday of the month from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Anyone interested in aging issues is urged to call (408) 270-4900.

 

Do You Have a Driving Ambition?—Then put it to work for Day Break! Day Break Respite and Caregiver Support Services, a program of Catholic Charities, needs drivers to transport seniors to doctor's appointments and grocery stores.
