I would like to extend my thanks to the terrific
teamwork of the FD committee and to everyone who helped make
Feast Day 2004, “A Taste of Italy,” such a wonderful event. The
day started off with a variety of animals gathered together for
blessings. Later, we enjoyed lots of delicious food, desserts
and beverages, delightful entertainment, children's activities,
Bocce, bidding on themed baskets and other great raffle prizes.
But most importantly, throughout the day we felt the community
spirit that makes our church a special place.
Please look for the beautiful EC Quilt
currently on display in the Gathering Space. A Feast Day wrap up
meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 12th at 7:00 PM, and
as usual all are welcome. It has been a pleasure chairing “A
Taste of Italy” and I thank you for support and attendance.
