We have set our minimum target for this effort at $4.2 million
in gifts and pledges to:

Partner with other parishes of our Diocese:
All parishes of our Diocese will participate in an effort to support diocesan wide ministries like Catholic Charities, Catholic education, clergy formation and retirement and other needs. It is a wonderful opportunity for St. Francis to stand in solidarity with other parishes to address near and long term needs throughout our community. Our target is $2,200,000.

Service and reduce our debt.
Our debt pressures our budget and limits our ability to expand ministries. In May 2006 the parish assembly requested that the parish address our mortgage. Our gifts and pledges will enable the parish to service our debt for the next five years.

Continue to save for facility expansion:
We are dedicated to reducing our debt even as we seek ways to expand our facilities. Funds collected over $4.2 million will be placed in savings for a needed expansion of our facilities. The amount we accumulate will determine whether we do a limited expansion of the gathering space or build a new ministry center as it is laid out on the master plan.

This effort is an extension of our mission to proclaim and live the gospel message of Jesus Christ. We welcome your enthusiastic participation in this important endeavor. Together we can transform our prayers and diligent effort into a legacy of faith and friendship for our ourselves, our families and our neighbors.
