Small Christian Communities are groups of people who meet on a regular basis to pray, study scripture, and support each other on our spiritual journey. If you are not already in a group that supports your growth in faith, Lent is the perfect time to find one. Below are a few of the groups at St. Francis of Assisi who are currently welcoming new members.

Sunday Readings and Gospel Reflection Group—Meets in homes in the Villages; Every other Tuesday, 7:00 pm to 9 pm; Contact: Lorinda Foss, 408-238-5835.

Couple's Renew Group—Meets in homes in the Tully Rd area; Third Thursday of the month, 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm; Contact: Helen Guerro, 408-274-1691.

Women's Prayer and Support Group—Meets in homes in Evergreen; First Wednesday of the month, 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm; Contact: Sharon Hurley, 408-238-1081.

"Come as You Are" Gospel Reflection and Meditation Group—Meets in the chapel; Every Wednesday morning, 6:00 am to 7:00 am; Contact: Pattie Cortese, 408-218-3963.

Take Another Look--Support Group for Returning Catholics—Meets at Willy Agbayani's house; Thursdays (except the first Thursday of the month), 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm; Contact: Willy Agbayani, 408-531-0784.

Gospel Reflection with Father John—Meets in the chapel; Thursdays (except the first Thursday of the month), 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm; Contact Parish Office.

Contemplative Reflection Group—Meets at Mike Donohoe's house; Every Monday during Lent, noon to 1:00 pm; Contact: Mike Donohoe, 408-799-6272.

Renewal Group—Meets at Kelly Cabrido's house; Every Wednesday during Lent, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm; Contact: Kelly Cabrido, 408-274-1648.

Start Your Own Group—Tom and Elsa McLaughlin have offered their house and their experience to help launch a new small faith community. Minimum six people.
