Stephen Ministers Give Testimony:
The Stephen Ministers, Janelle Day, Penny Johnson and Maureen Schaffer gave testimony last Sunday, February 18th, on the blessings of being a Stephen Minister and to let everyone know that we are here ready to serve. This is part of our campaign to bring about awareness, as the referrals have slowed down. Other than that not too much new. I will try to get a copy of there testimony and maybe you can figure something out.

Stephen Ministry Training BeginsWe launched our 50 hours of training for 15 parishioners who have committed themselves to learning the skills of caring ministry.  This is an exciting adventure in learning and doing ministry at St. Francis of Assisi.  Our Stephen Minister trainees have begun the task of studying, discussing, experiencing, and trying out the skills involved in sharing God’s love and compassion with those who especially needs these gifts.
